... Glenn though it was hilarious, they were quite comfortable. It seemed to take forever t finally get to the bottom, and I have never been so happy to get off that animal. ... As suspected Travis and her aunt weren't even going to get tickets until 9:30 am. I booked the tour along with them but they didn't seem to understand the urgency which was very frustrating for Stephen. ... better. I took hundreds of photos and at the point when the sun was almost gone it turned into the most beautiful pink ball of fire. Unlike at home, you could look directly at the sun and see its form without squinting. Finally the last slither of the sun disappeared and everyone who was there watching broke out into applause and wolf whistles. It was really funny thinking we were all applauding the sun for doing the same thing it has done for billions ...

... They make pasta on premises and our meal was absolutely delicious.

Our hotel was located in Kamari on the East side of the island of Thira on the waterfront's boardwalk. In the evening we met our guide and walked on the boardwalk shopping a little.
