Having an awesome time. Santorini is beautiful and very chilled - the perfect place to unwind.
Highlights so far:
Cliff Jumping (Nicole 'ass slapper' and Ian 'belly flopper'. The cliff was only 8 metres
Sunset at Oia - thousands of people lined the walls to watch and then started clapping when it set (weird)
... frindly roof. The site is amazing. Here are houses from the Minoan period over 3,000 years old in excellent condition.They have raised viewing platforms surrounding the excavation from which can be seen the details of the houses and public buildings. We saw several places hat Eugenia told us had frescoes which are now in the main Greek museums.The house of the ladies was a very intricate building, three stories high and having ten rooms. ... you would see the sunset but a lot of these hotel are way too expensive. Its just they seem to be closer in from our hotel and around the next bend so to say and easier view of the sunset. Where we are at Andronis Boutique you cannot see the sunset which disappointing because you the only way for us to see the sunset is join the crowds to get a spot to see it. Oia is a magical spot and only well you only live once.

When people think of Greek islands, they usually think of the little white houses on cliffs and crystal clear beaches. What they are thinking of is Santorini.
It is an amazing place and one we didn't want to leave.
We arrived from Ios a little later than expected as our ferry was delayed. However, once we got there, we were met by our host Costas and drove to Perissa, the beach part of the island. Santorini is split into 3 large areas - Oia, where the white houses ...
Today we decided to go to the red beach in Akrotiri. To get there we had to catch a bus in to Fira, and then change for another bus to Akrotiri. While waiting about half an hour for the bus we decided to hire a car for today instead, so that we could see some of the places you can't get to on the bus.
