... hoping for failed to materialise so we struggled on towards lunch managing only to fill two bins between the lot of us. We've four this afternoon.... Later in town I got talking to some locals who were telling me that Lakeport is so much nicer than Clear Lake as it does have the problems of Clear Lake. I assumed they meant the weather or the wind direction so I asked what problems.

"You know, in Clear Lake everyone is on crystal meth, crack cocaine or heroine. There is much less of that here" "oh, that's nice" I politely replied.

Mercedes, Nicole and I were the olive oil bottling crew, but first we worked on clearing out the outdoor barn extension in front of the wine bar.
