Carrefour de l' Europe 3 Brussels, Belgium
... like this”, I secretly felt sick for the rest of the journey, but I didn’t tell him that. Finally arriving in Calais, 3 hours into the journey and we make our way through France and into Belgium and then arriving in Brussels. We then walked down to the Grand Place Grote Markt which is a big beautiful square in the centre of town with a big Christmas Tree and Nativity scene in the middle. We had free time to discover Brussels as we wished, visiting the ...
Belgium, Belgium danniandtodd... would have been welcome. After lunch we met up with Juliette and went to a museum. I don’t think I’ve introduced Juliette before. She is my law Professor’s wife and is our advisor for our professional seminars. She is about 12-13 years younger than him, in fact he was her professor, and they have love story that is fit for the movies, full of missed connections, then serendipitous moments, war zones, and real true love. They both knew ...
Brussels, Belgium hachbach... 3 nights in Luxembourg, but after the first 2 I just didn't think there was anything else to do in the city, which is why I rented the car and drove around Echternach and the Moselle valley. I have no idea why, but Brussels instinctively strikes me as a place I won't get bored in. Maybe it's just the sheer size, I have no idea. Anyway, now on to the reason I'm actually writing this post: waffles! I have been assured that ...
Brussels, Belgium dianaleemillerOk, I am not a fan of Brussels airport! But I will get back to that. I got up late because I was up so late showing my trip pictures to Marius' girlfriend. I actually was woken up at about 7:30 by German revelers whom, I assume, were on their way home from a pub. They were singing German drinking songs at the top of their lungs while stumbling down the quiet side street that Marius lives on. Fortunately, I fell back asleep for another ...
Brussels, Belgium jmanc2... a Mona Lisa puzzle...weird. So then we got lost and ended up in the Arabian section of town. Somehow we ended up finding our way back. We got some Belgian waffles yumm. Then I insisted that I get Belgian chocolates adn we went into a chocolate stores. They were giving out sooo many free samples. I was in heaven. And then I bought some. Then we went to go see a band perform in the town square. They were really fun! Oh and ...
Brussels, Belgium dancera... Channel from Belgium in a couple hours, holding our breathe for the 30-45 minutes underwater. By 2:00 we had checked in to our hostel in the Earls Court area of London. We were soooo excited to be in England! Just traveling to the hostel on the 'tube,' we could not help but giggle a bit at all the accents around us, talking about the weather pissin', stuff being all rubbish, and how one lady really fancied some dress... So funny. And as we walked around from ...

Brussels, Belgium girlygirl1226... everyone was crazy on their bicycle but the streets were so calm and relaxed. The public transports thought (free for the day) were not efficient at all... I met with Gil and as the city downtown was overloaded with people we decided to walk to the upper town and went to sit on the Leopold Park, talking and relaxing there. We had some great time but its always hard to see her as its always for a too short moment where we cant do much. Always on a third public ...
Brussels, Belgium maplefanta... intresting but then i was just too ****ed. Had a johnny with an ex UN soldier who is now a huge dealer in holland and a hells angel and smokes because of post traumatic stress dissorder. then passed out at home... dunno how i made it there. next day didnt do much.... just a bit more walking around. I really liked the shopping streets, because they have speakers with some music running, even drum n bass. later caught the bus to paris.
Brussels, Belgium tomma... Crew were next. I think my bro would love them. They had the whole tent moving like their predecessors did. They especially got the crowd going when they announced that they did not have enough money to have a music video made so they were going to use a handheld camcorder to create a video of that performance. The crowd loved it and the performance was awesome. I hope that was not a stunt because I think they probably got some great footage if they decide to use it. At one point ...
