You Say Goodbye and I Say Hello

A travel blog entry by slonge on Feb 01, 2015

... a long time. But really, the lyrics sum up the way the past two weeks have gone since I was saying goodbye to some kids and saying hello to others.

      Feeling Blessed

A travel blog entry by slonge on Jan 19, 2015

... It was really funny to see their fluffy bodies and their little skinny legs running as fast as they could towards us.

For lunch we had the famous foie gras (goose, or duck liver). I say famous because the week before and after Christmas all I heard from the students was "What? You haven’t had foie gras?" or “You don’t eat foie gras for Christmas?” So now, I can proudly say that I have eaten it and I like it quite a bit actually. It comes in ...

Hello all. Well I'm back from my Christmas break in Canada. My time was well spent with my family. I was able to make it out ice fishing a couple of times, visited friends and had a Family Fire Fun Day to boot! Those are always my favourite. We all had a wonderful Christmas present with my newest nephew, Jaxon being born. I was glad that I got to see him, and have a feeling that I will be disappointed when I have a second nephew/niece being born at ...
