... have been breathtaking). Mike did a wonderful job staying focused with such dazzling landscape all around; I felt like I drove it right along with him. We were glad when we got to our hotel (Luckily we had nothing but Iced Tea for lunch....yes we do that now & then!

... Bay Aquarium. We made it through the whole place plus had a behind-the-scenes tour of where and how they rehabilitate sea otters. Very fun. Random fact of the day: sea otters' fur has 1000 hairs per square inch. The aquarium is well worth the visit!

... and went for a hike towards the ocean. Pretty epic.

There was one bakery that had Verizon service and I ended up eating their daily as their was action on the house. We lowered the price on the house and got two offers. On Thursday, the house was in escrow. Booyah!

Friday, packed up and headed up to see Clint Eastwood in Carmel! ...

... start at 12:30. We might have been able to finish but it would have been close and anyways Bob wanted to watch the Grey Cup game. Before we played, Bob agreed to give me two strokes a hole and on that basis I actually beat him! I had a lot of lucky bounces but also played a good game.

... we took the 17 (Californians always put "the" in front of the highway number, I don't know why, Maryland actually has the first interstate highway, The National Pike, but hey this is California).
