The end of the endless spring / honey
... also saw lots of fresh honey being sold next to the road. Which we happily bought to put on the bread and in the yogurt.
There was one amazing thing we had to learn: you don't need flowers to have honey! Apparently, there is some kind of disease of Oak trees that makes them produce some kind of very thick liquid. This syrup is hanging from their leaves to protect them from something. From it the bees are also capable of making honey, and it tasted great!

Today was a very laid back day. I was awake and reading when I realized that it was Sunday and that we should try and go to church in Lee's grandpa’s old church!
