... now to the sea front and the White Tower, Thessaloniki's most famous landmark, formerly a prison and site of a massacre in 1826, it's now a museum. A pleasant walk along the sea front took us to the church of Agia Sofia, modelled on the Istanbul namesake and dates from 8th Century. ... we are looking for a caravan and motor home sales company, which is close to the airport. We will stay there for a couple if days. It is free and provides electricity, toilet and shower and wifi. ... hollow in the middle, a great place for playing hide and seek. We park on a track opposite to enjoy the last of the sunshine and dry some washing. A little way along the road a farmer is busy on his tractor ploughing a field, as the sun sets we moved to the car park, washing dry and Dream Catcher lovely and warm from the sun.
