        Lazy day up about 10 done lots of chores went for a walk after lunch and bought a bag of Moules they are just cooking of course I had to open the wine to cook them so sipping a small glass. Trying out the oven today got some chicken cooking slowly for later. Pictures as promised ...

        Final day at the camp site today and I must say, it's been brilliant here, we have a final breakfast and clear up the hut for 10am, the car is well packed and we have the bikes all racked up again on the back of the car. The Mitton's drive on once packed up and we Marshall's go for for a swim and use the slides for a while,we then relax a bit by the pool until 12 and head off by car after that.         We wake up this morning and it's a bit damp outside, not heavy rain, but just a bit, by 11am though it's properly raining. Rather than stay and get cabin fever, we get in our cars and drive off to Sables to pay a visit to the Intersport, it's really busy on the roads in the town, we find where we are going though OK and get a few things in the ...

        ... then seem to have to keep them in a water filled bottle for eating later. Once we are all packed up, we have muddy feet etc and head to the quay side where there are a few hits selling oysters and other shellfish for lunch, sadly not for me as I fear that my immune system to oysters is a bit too risky for holiday, we do though get some ice creams and buy some souvenir honey and salt before heading back, the boys tear off on their bikes, girls behind with heather and Richard ...

        Today we made an earlier start to travel 3 hours north to another larger seaside town, Les Sables d'Olonne. We had organised with our Couchsurfing friends, Carole and Yoann to meet for lunch and visit the town. Today we took 'Karen' with us deciding the 'Homer' had led us down too many narrow lanes. She gives more instructions, particularly on roundabouts ( and we have passed through hundreds as traffic lights appear not to exist here) than Homer and we arrived on time. ...
