... about the day, albeit a little disappointed with French cycling infrastructure. Metz is a lovely city with lots of ancient buildings and structures. It also has a nice feel about it with a lot of traffic-free streets, cafés and restaurants. We had our normal post-ride wander and did a quick recon for tomorrow. ... It's practically bed time now. Ruby is going to Paris tomorrow to see a friend of hers. My partner in crime is leaving me for the weekend! What am I going to do? Hopefully in this case, I will get stuff accomplished and clean my room. We will see what I actually do. Now that it's getting colder, I'm struggling to get out of my bed in the morning and I just want to get back into it every chance I get. This isn't good!

... t have to translate in my head to understand, I can just understand what is being said in French. It makes it easier to learn a verb in Spanish and then translate that to French instead of having to do another step. The Spanish teacher is really nice though and quite helpful. She is very enthusiastic, which is good because class is at 5pm on a Wednesday.
