We made a lunch stop in Castellane, a village that clearly now lives off adventure tourism. Though it was by chance rather than design we found ourselves at the start of an amazing terrain of stunning rock cliffs, deep gorges and people out walking, kayaking, rafting, paragliding etc. We couldn't help but stop for quite a few photo opportunities.

... blood sport today too! They still do bull fighting to the death (the bull's) here. We visited the colosseum which is smaller than Rome's one but in better condition. It appeared to be in the throes of being set up for a concert. We walked on to where there is a very good example of a Roman temple... again still in use. Hard to believe we are not back in Italy!!

... Turns out that was the correct way. Quickly after, we found the wooden building (I mentioned it in my previous blog) and we turned left, and voila! We found Carrefour. We shopped around a bit and headed to check out. The second time around wasn't too bad.

Lina is fluent in French, but her tongue got tied when the young cashier smiled at her. We hadn't seen many attractive young man our age since we left the States, so I guess Lina was just losing her breath. ...

Since I went to bed early last night with a headache, I didn't bother setting an alarm this morning. I assumed I would wake up at a decent time and I did. I am so very proud of myself. I woke up at 9am. Not too shabby, especially since I don't have class until 2pm today. I got ready and enjoyed some coffee. There were little children walking by Boudonville again this morning, which just makes my day. They are so tiny! I honestly think they are probably about 5 years ...

... there weren't that many people around. It was incredible. Being the time of year it was and the high winds we weren't able to go up on the top of it. but I did a little bush walking up behind and had some magnificent view of the surrounding area and the bridge. Incredible. I loved just strolling around and loved exploring the area. Then off we trotted to Nimes. It was only a 20/25 minute drive. Its our last night together before Trace flies back to ...
