      What a glorious day to wake up to. The sun was shining, not a cloud in the sky and not a puff of wind, today is going to be awesome. We headed to Remoulins just north of Nimes to have a look at even grander Aqueduct than that at Castries and it didn't disappoint. Pont Du Gard.       Up for leisurely breakfast then off to Avignon. GPS on but more wary of her and a few times disregarded what she said and we were ok. Got to Avignon and again the main headache is finding a parking place. Saw a parking building so went in. The ramps to go up were so narrow sometimes we had to have a couple of goes to get car in right position to fit. No parks till the 6 th floor.!!! We have a Holden opal wagon.....we ...

      ... cheeses, wine, a couple of artists and in a courtyard there was an art exhibition. So a wee bit to see but they were packing up so just a quick browse.       ... de Triomphe. It is a 1st century AD monument it is classified as world heritage see pictures. From there drove back to Venasque. Around dinner time/ sunset we went for a walk around the outside of the walls of the village. Bit overgrown in places and there were fig trees with fruit...yummy.... And someone had a vege plot.
