        After getting use to the sound of hoot owls in the night we slept in until 8:00am this morning. We awoke to a low cloud level and cool temperatures but the promise of a sunny day lay ahead. After a pot of coffee (loved that after a month of espressos) and a light breakfast, we took a walk through the village of Noves.

        Up for leisurely breakfast then off to Avignon. GPS on but more wary of her and a few times disregarded what she said and we were ok. Got to Avignon and again the main headache is finding a parking place. Saw a parking building so went in. The ramps to go up were so narrow sometimes we had to have a couple of goes to get car in right position to fit. No parks till the 6 th floor.!!! We have a Holden opal wagon.....we ...

        ... de Triomphe. It is a 1st century AD monument it is classified as world heritage see pictures. From there drove back to Venasque.
