    Stayed at a best western In Katy, just outside of Houston. Managed to get a decent deal on a good room that I'm sure the dude made an **** of. Got up in the morning and went to the big mall before hitting the road again. Drove all the way to where Jamie's dad used to work in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Another best western!     From Rialton Harbor Docks, we went straight to Clewiston, which was the stepping off point to Lake Okeechobee.     ... and we were right on time. It featured a great group called the Nouveau Honkies from Port Salerno FL. They played their country/rock/folk tunes for 3 hours. There were hundreds of people sitting and standing all over the boardwalk and waterfront. We got a great spot to sit, on a wooden railing facing the river with the group in the foreground.
