      Initially we came to Pittsburgh looking to see the Andy Warhol museum and visit the Carnegie Hall where the last lecture was given... And then we saw the sky and knew we had to find a spot for sunset. The top hit was Mount Washington. Getting there was pretty cool, the mountain side was filled with full house style houses.       ... even a tower which we could climb for views over the hills and valleys. Unfortunately the cloud limited the visibility a little but we could still see to the mountains. There was a lovely picnic area just right for our lunch.

      After lunch, it was back on the small "highways" to get on the bigger roads heading for Pittsburgh.

      The area was also popular for wind turbines. On one ridge I counted at least 15 of them. There was also quite a bit of mining ...

      ... Inside the stadium the views of the river, bridges and downtown are varied, but all great, from different places in the stadium. A hedge near the batters' eye is sculpted to say "Pirates". The ramps to the upper levels were spirals rather than the typical switchbacks which makes for a shorter walk, but might be more crowded when the game lets out.       ... that charge a cover, and Mashal offered to show me the Cathedral of Learning at the University of Pittsburgh. I'm definitely thinking about taking them up on those offers.

      When I checked in, I noticed that the hotel was holding a raffle for a Pens jersey signed by Letang, and of course, I had to sign up for that. Tanger isn't my favorite player (that would be Geno), but he's still a great hockey player.
