A bit expensive during the peak season
but we stayed there in the off season several times and enjoyed the clean rooms, friendly staff, and the lazy river ride. Glad they have an elevator. Kitchenettes are nice and there is a grill at the poolside that no one else but us ever used. Would stay there again if the price was right!
"Very nice place to stay."
My family and I recently stayed at the Mainstay Suites in Pigeon Forge, TN and we had a very nice time. Mainstay is tucked away from the main Pigeon Forge strip and the location is very nice and peaceful. The one bedroom suite was very nice and included a full kitchen and a separate living room. There were televisions in both, the bedroom and the living room. The entire hotel was very neat and clean. I truly enjoyed the homey feeling of the suite, along with the nice indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi. I would highly recommend Mainstay Suites to anyone visiting the Pigeon Forge area.
Our family has been going there every other year since Nov. 1998
My family has been staying in this hotel every other year since Nov. of 1998. We have our Family reunions here and we have enjoyed the quiet and peaceful area ever since. As a matter of fact we are going back there again this year. The staff treats us gret everytime we go. They know who we are eveytime we stop by to stay to enjoy ourselves. I recommend this hotel over anything in Pigeon Forge if you ask me.
We had a nice time
We stayed from May 31 to June 7. We did not have any problems with the hotel. Our three year old son really like the pools. I liked the hotel since it was off of the main road. We walked most places we went. Or took the trolly.
Wonderful place to stay.
We have been going to PF for several years . We were thrilled when we found Mainstay. Provides everything we could possibly want: Relaxation, quiet, away from noise you find along the main road. Couldn't be happier and plan on returning this year.
There are much better hotels in Pigeon Forge!!!
We have been going to PF for many years and had the poor luck to book a suite at Mainstay. The walls were paper thin, allowing us to hear every bump in the night from our neighbors, sleep was impossible. If you are bothering to read reviews prior to booking and wish to actually sleep through the night, please try any of the other hundred other properties in the area. Guarenteed, you'll be glad you did.
Loved the Hotel
My family has stayed at Mainstay for our annual family trip on 3 different occassions. We love the hotel. The amenties at the hotel keep the kids busy. We plan to stay there again real soon.
Great place to stay
We have stayed there twice and love it. They have both indoor and outdoor pools, kiddie pool, a lazy river and an indoor and outdoor hot tub. This makes pool use possible despite the weather. My kids LOVED IT. Continental breakfast certainly adequate and well-staffed. Staff also helpful with booking area entertainment. Our favorite place to stay.
Nice location and setting
Stayed at this hotel on Oct 31-Nov 4, 2003. The location and setting are quiet, peaceful and attractive. We enjoyed being off the main parkway a couple of blocks! The room is comfortable, functional and great for a family with small kids. The kitchen was equipped with everything I needed for simple food preparation. Morning continental breakfast was ok, but I have had better at other hotels. The pool and hot tubs were great. The staff was not overly friendly, but not rude.
We had a few ants in our kitchen and no one seemed to be able to fix that problem, which we eventually reported to the manager. Overall I liked this hotel, minus the ants, and think it is a great place to stay for the price.
Main Stay Suites - Pigeon Forge
We stayed July 8 - 11 and just loved it. Both pools -outdoor and indoor
- are spacious. Lazy river ride was a popular place with both kids and
adults and there were also two hot tubs (large!) - one indoor and one
outdoor. The breakfast each morning was great - better than any other
continental breakfast I have had at other hotels. Hotel is about 3-4
blocks off the main strip of Pigeon Forge, so it is very quiet. We
enjoyed our stay there and will stay again!!

We're excited to be getting home tomorrow. We’ve been very fortunate through all our travels and have enjoyed sharing our adventures with our friends and family. We’re glad I wrote the blog because it’s already hard to remember some of the names of places we’ve been!

Our hostess, Yvonne met us at the airport and took us to her home. It is a former villa and she lives on one floor of it. Very unique! We went to the city and Yvonne showed us the main square and historical area. The streets were being closed and set up for a major ...

We left Maryville before lunch and
headed North through Knoxville TN. We stopped briefly at Clinton

show). I scrambled for my cellphone to take a photo (from a distance)
