... first, I'll move but I really don't see where I can go...." Marty and I looked around and saw about three other more intelligent spots he could have picked right at the start. He even could have pulled up anchor and backed up and reset and that would have been fine, he had a lot of room there... almost enough for another boat to be behind him. We started to pull up and leave since we had more room in the corner and we were just going to push ourselves in further. He started ...

... the traps like a pro. Smokey was not interested and thankfully chose to sleep through the ordeal. There are very good things about him being deaf- he can just go to sleep in his little quiet world and be peaceful while I scream " right- HARD!" at Marty over his head. We finally finished with the traps and made it to the channel. We were able to see the last bit of sunrise as an orange ball before it took on its yellow colour for the day. No big boats in site ...

Morning walk at the High Line. Park walkway converted from a disused railway track.

Drove south. Stopped for lunch at Mt Laurel.

Then south again to Chesapeake City but couldn't find a room there.

Found an inn at Georgetown called the Kitty Knight Inn. It is supposedly haunted by a good ghost called Knitty Knight. She saved the house and a neighbours house from being burnt down by the British raiders.

... I was content with a meal of filet de porc and cream sauce from a French bistro, but if the sun had have been shining I would have been content to dine on sushi and salad sipping sparkling mineral water (who am I kidding, it would have been a Pinot Gris!) Weather does make a destination...and this not so rough traveller will continue to pair weather and food/booze like the posh pair food and wine...I'll have a degustation of weather with matched wines any ...

... give me the best deal, so that was nice. I hop into my car and I'm ready to start my road trip. I plug in Dover Air Base into my GPS, and just as I thought, its only a mere hour drive away! I can still make it in at a decent hour...pun intended.

So I'm driving on the freeway about to cross into Delaware, and bam, I'm hit with a toll road. Completely forgot these were common place in the North, I just don't go up there very much. I didn't have any cash, because I ...
