At our first night at an airbnb, we were made to feel very welcome by Vicki and Buddy, they showed us to a very lovely large bedroom with an onsuite. Having slept very well the next morning we left early for Gatlinburg, the second attempt! No short cuts, no scenic routes just the Interstate all the way. We had to pass through Pigeon Forge and we were amazed by the buildings ( if you can call them that ). A play ground ...

As I was riding today, I was hoping that this effort will actually change ...

Who knows, there may be more than that.

After we left Pigeon Forge, we were in some forested areas for a few miles before we hit the next town, ...

... as wide as the traffic lanes, and stopped. Cheryl got out and went in to see if there was some information about the park. Just after she got out, I saw another sign saying the visitor center was still mile away. Hmmm. I wonder what that other place is. I honked the horn, hoping she would come back to the coach, but I guess she didn’t realize I honked and kept going. She came back and said, "That wasn’t the visitor’s center." ...
