Although we dreamt and planned a lot for this journey, we never thought about the last part.
Waiting between our last two planes, we still have one question:How do you end such an overwhelming adventure before getting back to the real world of bills, plumbing problems and work but also friends, family, weekends and summerbars? I guess by putting the best pics on your screensaver and planning the next one :-)?.
... are out by the thousands, eating, drinking, smoking and connecting with their neighbors. Such a vital time at night. But with our long day we decided to just go out from 7:30 - 10:30pm then head back to our hotel and into bed. Chris' pedometer marked we walked 11 kilometers today. And now my feet feel like it. So happy to be here. Special thanks to Cliff and Sandy who gave a condensed version of Rome....as we are going to Florence ...

... was pancetta. It seems to me that the German cuisine is based on lots of meat, cheese, bread and potatoes. I'll see if that viewpoint changes.
This was the day for a hop on, hop off bus ride. We did the full ride, as planned, and saw lots of the places we had visited on foot. From the bus tour (doubledecker), Frankfurt did seem a lot more industrial and less old. We did several hop offs, one in a more residential area - on foot it was ...
