    We decided to leave home at 10:15 am, a short drive to Roanoke Airport, but by the time we park, check in, go thru security, it's nice to not stress about time. It is 39 degrees but a bright sunny day!
    They have had huge snow storms in the Boston area that has caused many flights to be canceled in the past couple of days. Marian arrived in LA on Monday and her flight home was canceled until today. I didn't think it would effect our ...

  • Blue Ridge Parkway: an amazing drive, 2nd only to driving through the mountains of NH, VT, Maui.
  • Lots of wildlife: deer, birds, cows, horses, mosquitos.
