Slightly off the beaten track, Dalat seems to be a place the is often missed out in Vietnam travel itineries as many prefer to continue up the coast to the warmer beach haven of Nha Trang. We fancied it mainly as all the pictures we had seen of Dalat were of mountain slopes and swirling green vistas.

... the Metropol hotel next to try a cocktail at their famous rooftop sunset bar. The hotel was certainly a five star establishment with a beautiful pool and bar area. Once inside we established that the rooftop bar is actually at another hotel a few km's away, so told ourselves it was probably over rated. Ha Noi er noget af det mest ekstreme, intense og autentiske – fedt! Det gamle kvarter er der, hvor det hele sker, og hvor vi også skule bo. Vi ankom som altid uden nogle faste planer for, hvor vi gerne ville bo, og denne gang endte vi efter lidt tid med at indlogere os på Ha Noi Backpackers. Det var et meget stort hostel med rigtig mage mennesker, men stemningen var i top, og der var rent og pænt.
