    The museum was "really great, a huge amount of artifacts. Mostly from the late Roman Empire. I really liked seeing the Trier historical section, how the city rose up, the time periods and influences.     We took the bus out to Consdorf where we had the idea of walking to Mullerthal. Started off in Consdorf at camp ground and Matt played on the soccer pitch, then somehow managed to get on the wrong trail, and then took a few wrong turns and ended up in a neighboring town.     ... guide was the most interesting and well versed, Rene, who carried pictures he took with his box camera of the procession when Patton was buried. He had a photo of the caisson as well as the riderless horse. This was truly an amazing step back in time.

    Rene also walked us through the central part of the city pointing out the government buildings and the office of Duke Henri.
