... has 28 states of which Mumbai is the commercial state with automobile and textile as the leading industry. We first went to another hotel to look at it the Oberoi chain (remember this is a tour for travel agents) and this is a very modern hotel as it was renovated after the attack by the Palestine's in 2008 which pretty well had destroyed this hotel. Unfortunately, I was poorly for the 17 hour bus trip to Mumbai!!! Not pretty people, not pretty! ... Very confusing! We hid from the rain and then got dinner at the posh restaurant from yesterday - the safe option! Thursday 18th July The heavy rains are back! We got a taxi to Madagon and checked into our hotel at the top of a grimy shopping centre. The town was very poor and had lots of beggars, homeless and street kids. We found a restaurant to have lunch in and walked a little to find the market but rain stopped play... We went out for dinner to the same place as the food was ...
