... very disappointed would be an understatement. The beach was full of rubbish. We decided to walk along the long beach towards to Katu to see if it got any better, but unfortunately it did not. It was also made worse by the numerous hawkers that kept pestering us along our walk. We weren't going to let this affect us and sat up a towels in the cleanest spot we could find. Although it had been raining, the temperature was really starting to rise and Maureen and I were getting very ...

... of the Hot Water service and not much more.

The thing that really ****** us off is that there was no approach from management to tell us the incident even happened. The guy doing the towing was the owner of the park and he decided in his wisdom to not say boo because he couldn't see any damage! What a tosser! After a lot of haggling experience me and Anna now boss every purchase we make and always get the cheapest price absolute bargains they were once again! The boat ride to ...

... fed by any kind of fruit the visitors are allowed to bring food inside of the sanctuary and give it to the macaques that live there. However, they wouldn´t let us enter the sanctuary without buying valid tickets so we did so (IDR 30,000 per person). In front of the sanctuary there was a lady selling bananas so we bought a few of them and got in.

After a while we reached a small square where a lot of people were feeding the monkeys. We stopped to observe what was going ...

... man paddled his way past us as we sat on the shore and took in the mountain lined shores. Similar in beauty and geography to Pokhara, it was nice to draw the comparison with fellow volunteers from that leg of my trip. On our way back to Ubud area we stopped a few more times for pictures and at a fruit stall to try Durian and Jack Fruit. An infamous fruit in south east asia for it's distinctively bad smell but pleasant taste. Not as delicious as other ones I had ...
