... an open sewage ditch. It is not a place to linger! We were told that to get to our destination, Kovalam, we would have to go to the Southern bus terminal, about a km away, and catch a local. Rather than take a local we opted to haggle with a rickshaw driver, agreed on a price, and were off to Kovalam. It was a 14 km horn honking trip! When we arrived we were really impressed at how beautiful this area is!
