    ... I will carry them all the way home and let them tell their own stories from a nice shelf .

    I am currently in Virginia with a new front tire and new shoes. I'm bracing for the likelihood of winter weather ahead. I've hit just about every other obstacle that could be thrown my way. Whether it's one more or fifty, I will simply continue to do my best to close the miles each day.

    After the perfect day on the water, and Christian & his wife arrived, we cooked some crappies and sat out on the balcony eating fish & salads and drinking a beer, and we watched the sun setting over the lake.

    During the preparation for this trip I guided some folk (two sets of neighbours) who invited me to bring the family to visit them in North Carolina. Their place was an amazing lake house with heaps of room for us to abandon the R.V for a couple of days .

    ... back some great memories and I definitely will be back in the future to enjoy some more. It's a beautiful place to visit when you have some down time, to get back in tune with nature and meet some very loving people along the way. Where I stayed is near a huge lake, that spans a few towns including the town of Gaston, NC.
