        ... swim, we chatted with an older couple from Whitefish, near Glacier National Park - since we had been there, we could easily talk with them.         Today we left Yellowstone behind and enjoyed a trip through mountains and valleys to the Triple Creek Lodge in Darby Mt. We visited the Roosevelt Arch at the North Entrance to Yellowstone, followed the Yellowstone, Gallatin, and Bitterroot rivers as we made our way to the Bitterroot Mountains in Mt.         ... we had mountains on both sides. The sun was lowering toward the peaks in the west but was still warm - the perfect summer evening. We drove through the small but bustling town.         ... however, as the roads consisted of mountain twisties and sweepers separated by traverses across intervening valley floors. (Other western states could certainly learn from Montana's speed limit - 70 mph even on secondary and tertiary roads - roads other states would downgrade to 55 mph.)
