... We have learned that you have to travel over there before 10 in the morning to not get stuck in lineups and have no difficulty with parking!!
It was the wine and olive festival in Edgewater Park today. We visited with people from Washington ,DC,New Orleans and Maryland. We absorbed as much info as we could about New. Orleans ,our next destination.

Oddly enough you don't see much transit activity anywhere down here...seems to be very much a car culture with everyone driving and very little carpooling it seems..

... we spent about an hour on the beach. It was packed. We assume with kids on spring break. So now we have dipped our toes in the Atlantic on the east coast of Florida and the Gulf of Mexico on the west side.
Our drive back to Orlando was supposed to take 1 hour 45 min again but the traffic was againg solid all the way past Tampa city and it took us 2 & 3/4 hours.
Cooked dinner at our hotel tonight. Roast chicken and veggies. Nice.
... checking out the clearance rails when I found a new riding jacket I liked very much, and the price was just too tempting, reduced from $425 down to $200! Had to buy it! Also had another result, the jacket Di fell in love with, they didn't have in her size , so after buying my jacket it mean we saved $245 plus $400 on Di's so for once we came out in pocket to the tune of $625, lol We then rode home to discuss the day and a little break before going riding later. ... it's nice to be home. As each week went by another room was completed; first the bedroom, then the living room, then the kitchen, then the dining room. Last year the outside AC unit ******* out on us, this year our welcome home present was a failing water heater. Guess we can chalk that up to the pleasantries of Home Ownership. Anyway, the Villa is our castle, and we love the place.
