... stand, but also turn and (yes theres more) even catch the odd green wave. For those mind numbing seconds on each of the waves I caught, it was one hell of a feeling and my smile and nod of approval as I rode the wave to shore definitely showed this. To be honest, just picture Kelly Slater.

So annoyed that my phone died for the whole first day we were in Lagos. So no cool photos of the beach or their neat little town centre. Unless I steal Emma's photos. The beach was beautiful. White sand beaches with crystal clear water that looked devine. But it was deceiving. It was bloody freezing. So freezing there was no chance ...

... after. I spurted out a pathetic cough and shook it off like it was totally cool, and rather hastily headed back to the warm sand. Stocked up on the Portuguese equivalent of sudafed, cold & flu tabs and were ready for the next day. Now, I have a bit of a cold, but poor Jed is rough with the whole conjunctivitis milarky! Now I can't speak for him, but I know when I feel like **** I want to be in my bed, and curl into a ball. Well, not really an ...
