Poi ho fatto una lunga passeggiata sul lato occidentale del fiume e verso le verdi colline che dividono i due stati un tempo uniti nella Cecoslovacchia, ora Slovacchia e Repubblica Ceca, in cui faro' una breve sortita domani per visitare Olomouc, prima di riprendere a Est lasciando la visita di quello stato per Luglio, quando vi arrivero' dalla Germania. Frolicking
... 269;many. Like Hollókő, Vlkolinec was recognized by UNESCO for preserving the features of a traditional village. The best part for me, though, was the setting. Vlkolinec was nestled in the mountains, surrounded by alpine meadows. There may have been some frolicking in the hills after the sun finally peaked out. If said activity did take place, which I will neither confirm nor deny, pictures of such an event, should they exist, will not appear in this blog.

Discovering The Past
... I could find. So there I was, alone in the really spooky cemetery. Grass and weeds 2 feet high with tombstones overturned. I just know I was walking on graves but I couldn't tell! Every step I took I kept saying "Sorry, sorry" just in case I was disturbing souls at rest. I think they understood. There were hundreds of poorly marked graves everywhere and I started to think I would never find anything. But then I took a few more steps, turned my head and looked ...
