    ... a little over an hour, but from Texarkana area more like two hours, we decided to visit from here. I know we are also close to Denison and Eisenhower's place, but we have to have something to do when we're back here in Sep. So off we went.     ... I just relaxed. I went to the pool and Bob stayed "home" for a while, but when I woke up, he was sitting at the pool also. We stayed there for a bit then back to the coach for a light dinner.

    David and Rhonda came over about 6:30 and we visited for a while then went to KFC for a bite to eat.

    ... so of course it was a little more difficult (should have taken the Truck Route, but didn't realize that until it was too late).

    We finally made it to McKinney and turned north onto 75 where we promptly ran into a traffic back-up. Seems there was a grass fire. Luckily it wasn't too awfully bad since we did keep moving, just at a snails pace. Everything went well after that until we entered OK. There was a line of traffic driving into TX.     ... the rain got heavier. This town is on the bucket list for next time.
    Rained all day and we mostly stayed on back roads instead of the interstate for the first half. Once we realized that the rain was not going to let up we hopped on the interstate and headed south towards Dallas.

    ... evening, then never saw him again. They are found only through the states of Texas-Louisiana and northern Mexico. Through the week there were several bird species visited, but the bunting never returned--how fortunate we were to see him this one time!!
