While listening to my most favorite song at the moment (Turtle, by Alana Davis), I've realized my trip has BEGUN!!!! It wasn't real until now. I'm sitting at my seat on my way to JFK airport, waiting for my dinner, and I don't really have much to say except that my excitement is finally here. No worrying, no doubting, just excitement. That's all for now. Sorry if you found this post boring, but sometimes you just gotta gloat. Love you ...

... I last sore Linda well over 30 years or more. We had a great evening, great food and it was a shame we could not of stayed longer but we had already made plans to in North Carolina.

... as represented by the stripes on the Stars and Stripes....

Although Robert E Lee and Stonewall Jackson never fought here, there a more statues and pictures of them than Jefferson Davis, the president and the seal of the Confederacy is prominent in a lot of places.

This will possibly be my last blog from USA, wifi dependant.

... houses remaining and the old train stop which is a museum. This is worth a visit as there a few gems of information and some good exhibits. Although you can do this on one hour.

Allen Carter was a teacher and described as a small tobacco chewing mountain man who lost an eye in hand to hand combat at Jonesboro, a couple of weeks before his 30th birthday. He recovered and after the war became Governor ...

... was very sad going to bed this night... realizing I won't have my house that way again for a long time if ever. The dynamics of the house with the cats Patio, Mahbub and Kayla, and the energy of Joshua rolling on the exercise ball, and talking incessantly about the interesting habits of the cats. My sweet quiet times in my yard, and the comfort of my space when I am needing rest and comfort. And my nice neighbors... I was missing it all.
