Once there we were all briefed about the flight and the positions we needed to be in when jumping. I might my guide who i was strapped to Des who has done over 17,000 jumps in his career so i felt pretty safe with him! Had another great week here, weather not been so good, Magnetic Island (where i am now) supposidly has 320 days of sunshine a year, but we haven't seen the sun 3 out of our 4 days we've been here!! Last Monday I went on a scooteroo tour - about 50 of us on a guided tour around the town...but all on motorbikes!! It was so cool, i loved it! Makes me want to go travelling on a motorbike!! - Already planning my next trip haha! We saw kangeroos ...

... of Magnetic Island. i planned to stay for only 2 nights but was hoping to meet up with a friend from Maroochydore that was currently living here. my friend Ray was kind enought to pick me up from the bus station and bring me to the hostel i was staying in since it would have been quite a hike with all my suitcases in tow. after he helped me drop them off at my room we walked down the street ...

... for walks and hung out at the hostel. on friday i caught the ferry back over to townsville and the bus up to cairns. met malene at the hostel and then went to reunite for a quiet drink adn meal with frasers island people. was our last nigth together before heading separate ways so it was sad saying bye. cairns seems ok, didnt get to see much of it before ehading up to cape trib the following day.
