We had all decided yesterday to move to the hostel that Marieke was at as it was much nicer and was only a short walk up the hill. This was the place which we initially wanted to stay in however it was unfortunately full. The hostel certainly lived up to expectation and it had great views of the sea. This place was called barra beach club. It is definitely not suitcase friendly however as all dorms were situated on stilts and as we were in dorm 1, we had to walk up and ...
... trip that felt like it took forever and we eventually arrived back in Fortaleza at 1300. The bus stopped and dropped locals off where ever they wanted but no chance it was stopping for us where it was easy for us and along the same roads, so we got off at Beira Mar and grabbed a taxi back to Full Sail where we would stay for the night. We ducked into the water to cool off and the water was perfect. So refreshing and a great start to the day. We walked back to ...
... melted in the heat. The WiFi only seemed to work downstairs so we sat there for a little bit before heading up to our air con room to cool off and relax. It was clear this hostel was a drinking hostel as we snagged another free caipirinha between 1800-1900 and the others all sat there drinking all night listening to music. Luckily we were pretty tired and the air con drowned a bit of the noise as we crashed out fairly ...
