LA and Quito: A wicked start but not much oxygen
... Quito's volcanos, and at 4000m above sea level - the air was very thin and we were out of breath almost every 50m. The view was spectacular, and we finished the day at an authentic restaurant in the historical town where Ryan at a gunnie pig... disgusting, haha. Tomorrow we are bussing it to the quotolia loop which is a three day hike that meanders through the Andean villages, so really looking forward to that! Ryan and I also had a blast at ...
Halloween in Ecuador
... in Chile. It was going to be really inconvenient. As we were discussing this, Francisco pipes in and just says, "Why don't you go north?" Jule and I looked at each other, the idea never having crossed our minds, and couldn't think of why not. They were from Sao Paolo, think I'm crazy as am going to Carnival, confirmed that Leblon was a great place to stay in Rio, that samba dancing is hard for foreigners, and finally wouldn't recommend going to a soccer game without a local. Or at least I think that was the gist of it!! Tomorrow I am off to Puerto Quito which is a 3.5hr bus journey north west of Quito in the cloud ...
QUITO , milieu du monde ...
... br> circulation du nord au sud. Hé oui, Quito fait 8km de large pour 40
km de long...
