Another 5 hours of driving brought us to the Turkish coast and the city of Anatolya. We had to go over the Taurus Mountain range, which looks surprisingly similar to heading to Squaw - lots of rocks and fir trees. The only difference was that every now and then we would see tents with herders and their goats. Other than that, the highway was quite well built and maintained.

It was a slow day today. Rhonda headed over to the archeological museum and I took it easy. Did some wandering around the cobbled backstreets and found a few trinkets to buy. And lots of good photo opportunities. When she returned we did more wandering. Found some tiles we will have framed for our TV/travel room. ... able to get a good nite sleep (no 2:00 AM drums!) and also take a nap on the bus. We were able to get some expectorant, throat lozenges, and cold tablets without speaking any English.
