      ... whom the locals ignored. Paying the bill, I saw what I got was cheaper than what I ate so decided just to pay for that and a beer 25 TD.

      Back at the hotel c 2245. Took the computer to reception. The wifi was operational but not functional. The locals use the reception area to convivialize rather than staying in their rooms, bearing in mind they do not drink.       ... stone houses built across a hillside in the middle of a gorge that would lead us out of the mountains and towards the coastal plains.

      The village was gorgeous with a beautiful mosque in the middle of all of those stone home. The alleys were typically narrow and the villagers appeared to be pretty friendly.       ... amp; we had to remove our shoes before entering. Some old men were reading from the Torah & discussing things when we were there. Next door is a guest house for all the pilgrims. From there we went to see a local potter making pots etc as this is an important local industry.
