W naszym rankingu: number one... numero uno ;))

W Czarnogorze deszcz, w drodze serpentynami gorskimi - zaskoczenie: wyzsze lancuchy gorskie na horyzoncie przysypane sniegiem! Zima? W nasze LETNIE wakacje?!
Zgroza!
Widac to zreszta po nas - zakapturzone... skulone " turysty" na chorwackiej drodze, potem juz autostradzie.
I to chyba ostatnie "turysty" tego lata :)) Za to komfort jazdy wspanialy - wszystkie ...

... just fine now.

The journey to where I am not was unplanned, totally spontaneous, and pushing the envelope of what a normal traveler would do. It involved getting a bus door slammed in my face, a woman at a left luggage office holding my bag hostage, one plane and two bus rides all day, one cool stopover and getting lost at night on foot. All this so I can bring you only the finest from Europe. But I made it obviously and will have plenty to tell about.

Retour à Zadar

Among the Hip

... in Pag, I ended up talking to my Belgian neighbors for the first time. They were actually nice guys, not the jerks I initially thought they were. I told them my story about travelling for a year and they were all intrigued by it. They asked a lot of questions and I answered all of them. One guy even went so far to say that he had a tremendous anmount of respect for me as he didnt know if he could go to the places I was going all alone. I told him it was ...

A man without a world to call his own

... where I try not to think about what I dont have and focus on what I do have. I think I sometimes take it for granted that I have this whole year in front of me to see the world. I have to make sure I make the best out of every day. I know there will be days where I will be in lively places that just wont be happening for me. But rather than get down, I try to think of it as a rite of passage. Sometimes you need to go through some quiet periods ...

Next Island: Pag (Make sure you bring a friend)

... at 7 and I was in Pag by 7:45. As soon as I got off the ferry, all I saw was young people. They were everywhere. Along the main road, there were many bars as well. I knew I would like this place more than Rab. I went looking for the tourist office. It was a bit difficult to find but I eventually found it. They werent too helpful in finding a place for me to sleep. ALl they told me to do was walk up one of the streets close by and knock on any door ...

Zadar, Croatia

... we had about a 2 hour drive to Zadar, and crossed under some more mountains in a really long tunnel. We arrived in Zadar and easily found a nice place to stay in Borik (The Albin). We spent the rest of the day and next morning exploring Zadar, capturing some wonderful pictures, and hanging out in Croatian style.

Across the Adriatic

... The city is home to one of the oldest churches in the world, built in the year 300 A.D. It used to be the summer destination of Roman emperors and in keeping with tradition is now a popular resort town for European jet-setters. Due to our lack of funds we did not charter a jet, but instead took the overnight ferry from the town of Ancona, Italy across ...
