Dubrovnik to Zadar

This morning we left Croatia, said a brief hello to Bosnia before saying hello again to a favourite country of ours Croatia (Dubrovnik is isolated from the rest of Croatia by a finger of Bosnian land to prevent them from being land locked) We stopped for lunch in the biggest city on the Adriatic coastline, Split. I had never heard of it but it's nice enough. We had a lovely lunch but the ...

Island of Pag

Behind on my entries. Earlier this week on Monday, I took a day trip to the island of Pag for some sightseeing and more swimming and tanning. The landscape is a lot different than what I was used to on my usual beach days. To walk down to the beach, it was very steep! It is mountainous terrain with lots of big drops and next to no paths, so that was an adventure. There were tall white stone mountains ...

... a paradise for our family to escape to in the summer, or year round for that matter. They have treated me so very well and if it weren't for them, I wouldn't be having such a glamorous vacation lol. I also did some more tanning and beaching in the last couple days. What is better than the beach, a beer, and your bikini all combined? Nothing if you ask me! Home in 9 days. Thanks for reading people! I appreciate your time and hope you find my stories somewhat ...

Instead of making this trek, we sat in the air conditioned car as we winded up the steep rock path (I don't know how the hell cars and trucks drive on it). There were no houses as we had left the main town, people still tend to little rock shacks and gardens in this ...

Bol, Split, Krka lakes

... know. Bol is very touristy but very nice and boasts the beach spit which adorns the majority of Croatian tourist literature. We found a campsite right on the coast a few hundred metres up from the spit. Lib and I took it in turns to go for a lovely swim (the water is now 20 degrees) to the spit and back. We had a wonder around the town the next day followed by an afternoon hoping for the wind to pick up. It did, at about 6pm - a bit of a critical and ...
