A load of snow had fallen off a roof onto Dream Catcher, luckily we were unscathed. It took us over 2 hours to drive around often having to reverse so that vehicles coming the opposite way could pass us. It ...

The yellow arrows led us to 25th Avenue, the Main Street through the city centre with a few grand buildings remaining. We walked into the local resort dodging the waves as they crashed against the rocks ...

A stray dog decided to follow us and it took us ages to persuade him to go away. Back at dream catcher we did some blogging as the weather deteriorated into snow and hail storms. The lady on the office here told us in her 45 years living here she had never seen snow at sea level. It made us wonder if it's us that attracts bad weather, those of you ...

... had just the right thing. ( this sounds like Goldilocks)!
Back at the harbour we removed our wet clothes and put dry things, on had lunch and set off for Iraklio, Crete's capital city.
The roads were flooded in many places and there were numerous rocks in the road washed down with the rain. On one bend a police car was parked on the centre if the road, we slowed down, we could see some cones set out ...
