    Excursion to Cefalu

    A quick walk brought us to the church and its adjacent monastery where we could do the entire tour before closure. d
    The other attraction of Cefalu is the Temple of Diana at the top of the hill in the middle of the city.
    It is an archeological site where there are remnants of old civilization and most importantly you climb almost 200 metres and get a spectacular view over the city from the height. It was well worth the climb.

They are making a bike path - yes you read well a bike path - on the agenda and the whole street was closed for traffic.     ... br> Last activity for the afternoon then was a short walk through the streets of Monreale, which is a bit of a challenge as there are cars everywhere and no place for pedestrians. So it is find your way, bluff yourself in-between the cars etc.
    Back in the room now to relax, cool down and prepare fir dinner which starts here around 8 only. Still need to find a good place to eat though...
    Tomorrow is car pick-up and then... we will see.
