Wales and England - AMAZING. We arrived on Friday 16th October. We launched straight into sightseeing mode and went directly to the Roman Baths in Bath. What a groovy town Bath is. The next day was the Dr Who Experience in Cardiff. This probably rated as James' most favourite tourist attraction. That afternoon Paul and James went to the Semi Final of New Zealand v France. But it’s all an experience, doing car repairs en français. I’m amazed really, that at half past four on a Friday afternoon a) anyone is up for doing any work, and b) they can whip the wheel off, and the tyre, and fix a puncture, all within about 15 minutes.

... all up the Maurienne valley has been cloudy and rainy – and snowy higher up – all day. Generally grim in other words. Here is actually sunny, albeit a bit chilly.

The other thing is I have just had a cappuccino in Italy. There was no chocolate powder on top. Just frothy milky coffee. I have no idea if that’s an authentic cappuccino or not, but it tasted good.
