OMG today was a special day! Our trip started at 8.30h after a very good breakfast (yoghurt, bread, tea, fresh orange juice, babybel, ...). The time and kilometers were flying in the first part of the day but then ... We lost about 5 hours with driving the wrong way, finding our way back, losing time in the cities due to road blocks, ... But then the biggest problem arrived ... ...

... by the pool for a while – how lovely.

Michel has cooked ratatouille for us tonight with vegetables from his own garden. And it was delicious. After dinner we went for a lovely walk around the local streets, found the church and the city centre which was actually very quiet. The walls are very high and the town is very well taken care of.

... Ré and you could see the trucks and conveyor belts working away. It was also interesting to see that the pink pans were where the table salt was going through the evaporation process. It actually did look pink! We continued on our way back to camp and passed by a herd of horses grazing. When I looked closer, I spotted foals so we pulled over to take pictures of the brown foals with the white adults.
