      ... got to view old stone cannons that the locals used to carve and fire off in celebration. We met an odd man who brought his pet owl named Samuel into the local pub (he let me take a picture with him) and I got chin booped by an old Welsh sheep farmer who caught us crossing his fields one day. He was a lovely gentlemen but the chin boop would have been much improved if his hands hadn't been covered in God knows what kind of sheep mess.

      ... the lovely village of Beddgellert and right beside the slopes of Snowdon. The Ffestiniog Railway is a bit shorter, and the scenery is not quite as impressive, but it's still amazing. The fact that you're on a steam train just adds to it!

Anyway long story short we were told to head back to the bus stop as there was meant to be another bus coming in 5minutes, once back there waiting for the bus a car turned up & told us to get in, it ended up being the guy who had called me a yank at the pub (with his wife sober driving him).
