... as trees reached out over the rapids of the river, across wooden bridges and even passed through a thick fir forest. It was a truly amazing walk that Anne and I enjoyed so much. It was so surreal and so sensory that we had such a great time. Passing Miners Bridge, a wooden ramp over the white water of the river, we came to a new track that was more bogged by the rain. The going became tougher and less scenic. Eventually we reached a small hut and cut up towards the road, ...

... the cathedral – a must see if anyone is ever in the area. We also got there when the choir was practicing; I thought I was going to cry the music was so beautiful and echoing throughout the cathedral. I will let the pictures do the rest of the explaining. Also fun fact, the cloisters appear in the first Harry Potter movies. From Gloucester we made the long trek to Tintagel and got a bit lost on the way. ...

... a VS. After a little traverse we found another route up and continued to the top!

The views were spectacular and we took some time exploring the top and leaping between Adam & Eve rocks - very scary. Not a big gap but you are so high up that it feels like you may fall to doom! Luckily we did not. From here we descended a little to then climb up Bristly Ridge. This was a very hands on ...

      Climbing Tryfan Bach

Keen to do some more route bagging in preparation for our SPA we headed to Craig Caseg Fraith Isaf, which had lots of fairly short routes for our grades. We had a lovely sunny day and managed to get lots of routes done. After some lunch we moved on to Tryfan Bach, a nice big slab of rock taking 2 pitches to sail up. I think I placed 1 bit of gear up for the entire climb! It was so slabby you could pretty much just scramble up it hands and feet. Another good days climbing!
