... perhaps I should beat a hasty retreat to an alternative route. That is the first time in all my years of walking that I have had a problem with a bull and it was a bit scary.

Since arriving in Wales I have stayed in three sites, the first was a bit disappointing for though it was set in lovely rolling countryside, there were few areas nearby where I could go walking and it also rained every day. I found the nearby town of Corwen pleasant ...

Everything was soaking wet, so we've got clothes hanging all over our room trying to dry them out. Our jackets worked really well today. Thank you Mr Goretex. We went for a nice pizza dinner tonight, walked around town a little and are now back at our room watching tv with ...

... for that leg, although there was hardly anywhere to put bags. We transferred at Chester and at that point, had no seats for the rest of the trip to Llandudno, even though they were reserved. British Rail used to be very well organized, but everything was privatized years ago and now the trains are overly crowded and unsafe, with bags in the aisles and people pushing and shoving to get on and off. Everyone here takes it in stride though. Llandudno is a ...
