Not much to report on today other than ****** weather followed by more ****** weather on the trip to Ruthin. Tina drove today and I am looking forward to getting back behind the wheel tomorrow. We are staying at an old castle tonight and the room is a bit cramped. Had a nice dinner and spent 2 1/2 hours sitting with the kids taking the **** which was good fun. Off to Stonehenge and Portsmouth tomorrow so it will be a big day behind the ...

The rocks were very slippery. We got caught in a little hail storm as well. It was beautiful, just very cold. I don't like walking on ice in the winter, and most of the rocks felt like they were ice.

The pictures included are ones from Google, as I did not have my camera with me. ...

Today I climbed a mountain in the Outdoor Pursuits Class. It was the longest hike I have ever been on. It took the whole time but I did manage to make it up and down the mountain!

It was more challenging than I thought it would be because we weren't really following a trail, but rock scrambling. The mountain was Tryfan on the Snowdonia Range. It was about 900 meters above sea level.

      Going up ...
