How have I lived in Thailand 9 months and only just now spent a weekend on Koh Samed? It's the closest island to me in terms of the big tourist spots, and it’s gorgeous. I guess I just figured it was too close by to waste a three-day weekend on it, and I never got around to going on a regular weekend. What a mistake. Samed is my new favorite spot in Thailand.
