Beach Paradise

A travel blog entry by anlnewby on Jun 11, 2015

Today started like the last few. An early wake up for me and a nice gentle sleep in for Lisa. Today Lisa was happy to make breakfast and did a wonderful job. The day started cloudy and we weren't sure whether it would be a good day to camp out at the beach for the whole day. We decided to go anyway and the cloud cover soon moved to a beautiful sunny day. The water was amazing and fresh like ice to our warm ...

A very picturesque spot! We walked through the restaurants and bars ...

According to science, the island is made of granite and the first known settlers were Ionians in the 9th century BC. The island was ...

... why people come here to holiday.

Our hotel is small but lovely. It is perfectly comfortable. I make friends with two girls called Tamiko and Beth. We are similar ages. We buy a bottle of wine and drink the afternoon away on our verandah with Loui and Matt(they are staying next door to Beth and Tamiko and are also part of our group). Loui is from New Zealand, Matt is from America and the two girls are Australian. We then make it into town by taxi for our night out.
