... of lodges are available nearby Temple. The Bus Stand is very nearby to Railway Station. We stayed at VINAYAGA LODGE which is on the upstairs of Bus Stand. The lodge is not that much good. The only benefit is HOT WATER all the 24 hours. They have provided one solar water heater. The toilet is very bad. Bath room is without a light. I found good lodges near the temple.
Dharshan: Temple is reported to be open between 0600 hrs to 2200 ...

It was another short drive to our next destination, the Metolius River. Gabe had camped and fished here when he was young with his Dad many times, and had such great memories. We found the campground, Lower Bridge, and pulled in. We spoke with the camp host, and she told us there were a couple sites available - # 3, 8, and 10. ... tait compètement dans la forêt, nous traversions des couloirs et tunnels de forêt. Au sommet des montagnes (5,300 pieds), une surprise nous attendait. Il y avait de moins en moins d'arbres et plusieurs étaient morts debouts. Tout à coup il n'y avait plus d'arbre et au premier coup d'oeil il nous semblait voir d'énormes tas de terre noire. Juste un peu plus loin, une pancarte indiquait "Crater" ... Nous nous sommes tous les deux exclamé ...
