Back in Italy today. Enjoyed beautiful scenery on the way to Venice. Some very steep hillsides with many vineyards - no wonder Italians are so fit and healthy - traipsing up and down, tending the grape vines. ... went to two; Burano and Murano. Burano is known for it’s colourful buildings and crafts and Murano is where they blow glass. Murano glass is famous worldwide. It took about 30 minutes to get to Burano and we didn’t really do much there besides take pretty pictures. It was a pretty small island. ... polizia and fire boat stayed longer but we think they were ************...A small boat left pulling another small boat and there were about 6 people in that first boat.
All that in one day! So eventful! We headed to bed knowing we had to be off the boat by 9:00.
Will catch-up tomorrow in Barcelona for the second half of our adventure!
