... of the lovely weather, Sarah and I decided to take a little hike up the hill behind our house. Gianicolo hill offers a panoramic view of the city and stretches from my neighborhood to the Vatican. From what I read online, it was originally the only path that connected the two before streets were built. ... So after that exhausting exercise it's time to head to the Pizza restaurant for some sustenance. Dinner is a-la-carte menu, not buffet, and drinks are reasonable €6.80 for a glass of red wine. We woke up very early for our bus and plane ride to Venice. We flew to Venice and took a bus and boat into the city. We got lost for a few hours and then checked into our hostel.
