It was such a pleasure spending time with all of my new friends that I met during an awesome program. It was a great experience getting to know each one individually and be able to share a little of our lives with one another.

However, I do want to dedicate this final post to the eldest member of our crew, Kelly of Claryville, N.Y. Kelly has to be the coolest 90-year-old woman I have ever met.

... have to keep your eyes open for.

Today I used an app on my phone that uses GPS to track where you skied on the mountain, how far you traveled and what your top speed was. Today we traveled a distance of 31 miles (including chair lift rides) and my speed topped out at 52.7 miles per hour.

When we entered the room, we saw a strange piece of furniture or sculpture next to the bed. It was about 20 inches wide, four feet long, and had two humps, one about three feet high, and one about two feet high, kind of like a miniature roller coaster. Huh. Weird. Until we saw the poster on the wall. Four rows and five columns ...

Heading to Maine I (Rachael) was looking forward to seeing my friend Meg who I hadn't seen for years. After an autumnus scenic drive we arrived at Kents Hill, a small village which is centred around the very prestigious High School where Meg works. After leaching on the local bar's wifi to get in touch with Meg (not even getting out of the truck!) we headed to the school staff accommodation to meet her and Kent (her dog who ...
