Great nights sleep, foggy in morning and didn't clear till after 3 in the afternoon. Easy day 15 miles and 3000 ft of ascent. Saw two really good forts. Walked through a very scenic park apparently owned by the vacuum guy(Dyson). B&B closed on arrival so sat in pub writing ...

B&B was ok in the end, smelt damp when I arrive. Took longer route along canal. Lots of ups and downs today and lots of long barrows including hetty peglers tump which you needed a torch for because you went in so far. Climbed tyndale beacon which got narrower and narrower as you got higher, not much space at the top. Weather good again, a bit cooler today ...

I'll try to do a blog on the way.
Wish us luck!

Not that everything in Greece is simple:
Athens has changed since it was selected to host the 2004 Olympics and the improvements have continued, making Athens and Corinth ...
