Från paradiset till "helvetet"
... Italienare. Moa lyckades i alla fall förmedla på franska att vi ville ha kontakt så framemot eftermiddagen medans vi kopplade av vid poolen kom den franske dykinstruktören förbi och presenterade sig. Med titel, inte med namn... :-)
Vi bokade in Lördagen och Söndagen för aktiviteter till havs, men innan dess utnyttjade vi Fredagen till att utforska några av Nosy Bes attraktioner. Nosy Be är även känt som den parfymerade ön, på grund av odling ...
First stage complete!!
... in the Mozambique channel there would be whale sharks and manta rays in the right season but that's a bit later. :( On Saturdays, our days off, we went for a trek through the rainforest to get to the next village for some decent food and to see some wildlife on our way which started by wading through the mangroves
(which the villagers use as their toilet) up to our thighs which was....not so refreshing! We had a guide from our villlage ...
A Terrible Day
... in arranging our flights, etc. We couldn't have functioned without all this help.
Thankyou's and love to our families and friends in Australia who helped remotely. We need you all badly.
We are currently in Australia again, I will post our rough journey shortly. I will also attempt to fill in the other blog entries, although the notes I've taken are now tainted by a gap in our lives.

Treehouses by the Sand
... back in the hills to obtain those evil cancer sticks that I insist on putting in my mouth. He didn't mind, especially when I left him with the change for his efforts. Our constant fire was soon going as we swapped stories and eagerly awaited the moon. Unfortunately, due to smoke and clouds we were denied this night, but the accommodations (now with locks) more than made up for it as we headed to sleep on raised beds with full mosquito netting. Ahhh, 'luxury'.

We regretfully turned our faces to the beach and home (the tide was returning again) walking across rocks and sand alternatively. The rock is almost indescribable.
