... place. From Bibury we drove through Bourton on the water and on to Stow on the Wold. The area is lovely with beautiful views of the countryside We enjoyed the drive along the narrow lines, high hedges lined the road and the hedgerows were full of cow parsley and buttercups. After another great meal we enjoyed local cheeses with a slice of Mary's Bara Brith, we have really appreciated this generous hospitality but tomorrow we move ...

I would say it was definitely more at the end of horrendous. Verity would most certainly agree as she got so worked up knowing she couldn't sleep and all of us had dropped of that she even planned her wedding and worked out a reason why she would hate every single one of us.. Amazing what lack of sleep can do to you. ...

... Heyer novel "Bath Tangle". I figured I had to buy it. This corner was where a Circulating Library used to be, so it was very apt. The novel sits beside me as I write, calling out to me to be done with this writing and to indulge in some delightful froth. The church bells just played an excerpt from an old hymn. There just wasn't enough of it to pin down the name of the hymn. I do like the bells. They rang for 2 and half hours last night. It was part of a music festival I learned about ...
