... great place to get homemade pie. This is where I met my new friend, Barb. She served me pie! Palisade is a population of 167, Crazy small. The Palisade Cafe was a tiny little dive on the GRR. I walk into the cafe and Barb is sitting there reading the paper. I asked if I could get lunch and she couldn't get up quick enough and say, "You betcha'!" As I sat down she figured out I wasn't from here and made me order the stuffed hash browns. I asked for a half ...
