    After a quick final yoghurt fruit and honey for breakky, we headed to Parikia to board a fast ferry to Rafina (mainland Greece).




    The Sea Jet - funnily enough, this ship was built in FREMANTLE!

    ... scurrying into the safety of shop doorways. The laneways wind and zig zag and are seldom straight. We are told the theory behind this was to confuse and deter the Pirates. There are shops selling everything - clothes and jewellery being the predominant items, but plenty of cafes. All the buildings are white and i can't help wondering what the colour charts look like in the local paint and hardware stores. Window trims seem to be the only choice available ...

    ... as when we first walked in lots streets littered with empty spirit glasses and beer bottles. Some of the shops didn't open till late guess they had hard nights as they probably need tourists for income. Amazed at lot of our fellow passengers, one lady today who looked ordinary was buying an 8000 dollar necklace and her husband on walker, shop assistant virtually carried him up steps to have a look and he said yes!     ... who baked them to perfection in the pizza oven and delivered them to our table.

    Next, it was time to meet our meat at the grill.

    This time, it was Justin who ensured that my filet mignon and Joyce’s lamb chops were removed from the flames at just the right moment.

    ... their equipment out! :)), we went to our club. Our club had free buckets for our group. I don't know what the cocktail was but to me it tasted like chocolate. I told my friends that and they laughed hysterically-clearly it wasn't chocolate so I am assuming the copious amounts of alcohol made it taste like chocolate to me.
